Bounny ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
Bounny uses your device's microphone to record audio for speech recognition and transcription purposes. Audio recording only occurs when you actively initiate it within the app. We do not record audio in the background or without your knowledge.
If you create an account, we collect:
We may collect basic device information such as device type and operating system version for app compatibility and troubleshooting purposes.
Your transcription records are stored locally on your device using an encrypted database. Account credentials are stored using Android's encrypted shared preferences. We use industry-standard security measures to protect data transmitted to our servers.
We use third-party AI language model providers (such as OpenAI) to process your audio transcriptions and generate summaries. These providers have their own privacy policies governing data handling.
Bounny is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
